Dr. Harini Chitta is known for her skilled hands and warm heart. Dr. Chitta is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist, who makes every child’s comfort her top priority and believes prevention is the key to lifelong oral health.
Born and raised in India, Dr. Chitta earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences and also pursued a Master’s degree in Psychology, which helped shape her compassionate, child-centered approach to care.
After moving to the United States, she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Temple University Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry and completed her Pediatric Dental Residency and Master of Science in Dentistry at Nova Southeastern University and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. During her training, she received extensive experience in hospital dentistry, pediatric emergency care, behavior guidance, and sedation dentistry. She chose to remain in Florida because its warm climate reminded her of home in Hyderabad.
Dr. Chitta is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and is committed to providing compassionate care tailored to every child’s unique needs.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time with family, vegetarian cooking, learning about different cultures, and singing Indian classical music.
Dr. Chitta’s philosophy is rooted in empathy, education, and empowerment—helping children build healthy smiles and positive dental experiences that last a lifetime.
